This was my weekend read. This book had been on my want to read list for some time, and I finally purchased it a few weeks ago. Then it took up residence next to my chair until I picked it up Friday night.
It took a while for this book to reel me in, but it did. It is definitely a book that I think leaves you with much to digest. And, I absolutely recommend this one.
I found myself in tears because of the event that led to so much pain for those involved. The manner in which life is defined could bring comfort to many.
The perspective of The Trinity was presented in an easy, feel good manner, and I suspect that it could help some to understand. And, I believe there are lessons to be learned that would benefit all.
The author makes a valiant attempt to offer some understanding of the age old question of why God allows bad things to happen.
Have you read this? Tell me what you think.
I've had a busy weekend. I have my cornbread and biscuits baked and ready for use in my stuffing. I've decided to have oyster stuffing this year. Yesterday I baked my pies - pumpkin and pecan, and I prepared my cranberry chutney. I purchased Christmas ornaments for our son and grandson. Saturday we put seasonal flowers on the graves of my husband's parents and my father. We usually do it the weekend after Thanksgiving, but next weekend we will be busy decorating.
