Happy Pink Saturday !
Our very own CC at Lace "n" Ribbon Roses is in the hospital. She has requested that I let you all know that she will announce the winner of her giveaway once she is back home. Let's all keep her in our prayers.
This week we have one hundred sixty-nine (169) participants in Pink Saturday. There are seven new participants, and you will find them at the bottom of the list. Let's all take time to welcome them to Pink Saturday. All participants are listed in the order in which they began participating.
Please take the time to visit other participants, and leave a comment to let them know you stopped by to enjoy their pink. Pink Saturday is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet others in the blogging community. I promise you it is worth the effort because you will not only see lots of pink, you will meet incredibly nice and talented people. Please refer to my post dated January 8 for more information about Pink Saturday.
Remember that my reminder e-mail stated I needed your plan for participating today no later than 8 a.m. EST Friday. If you don't see your name and link here it is because I did not receive your plan for participating by that time.
I want to thank those of you that take the time to leave me a comment. I love reading what you all have to say.
Reminder - We have a weekly challenge for you to visit the blog of at least one participant that you have never visited before. Then next Saturday include that blog and a link in your post. Quite a few of you have been done this challenge, and have met some of the great Pink Saturday participants. Thank you for sharing with us.
This week I am featuring three blogs of Pink Saturday participants. These Pink Saturday participants have requested to be a featured blog, and there will be up to five featured blogs each Saturday. Please visit, get to know and say hello to these participants. They have each written the following personal greetings to you.

Pink Saturday Featured Blogs
Thank you, Beverly, for featuring Self Sagacity today, and thanks so much for those of you who are taking the time to read my 5 seconds moment of fame on How Sweet The Sound. Self Sagacity started with the goal of driving traffic to Blessing Reflections - which was started as a charitable site. Donations were to be for orphans in need of medical attention. What has happened since then is my realization of how much work it takes to be a blogger. Needless to say, now I have deep respect for those who have been blogging for a long time, since I am already exhausted after seven months. How do you do it? Between family, work and life, I can't even think straight. As for the person who is totally responsible for getting me addicted to Self Sagacity, I can't thank you enough either - Icy BC. She said I was a natural blogger. Does that mean that I am just a busy soul that needs to express herself? I took it as "talent", the talent of spilling my guts. What can I say, it's all on my blog, so click on by to say hello or here for the definition of Self Sagacity. I love to get to know you all, every single niche and group, so thanks in advance for stopping by - I do what I say I would do.
My goodness, what can I say about myself? I'm a happy, funny, humorous and creative chick. I blog about my life, family, decorating and crafts I do, and I am obnoxiously girly even though I'm an old lady. I think of myself as a 25 year old married to my sweetheart of almost 50 years. I consider myself a Californian even though we moved to Idaho about 17 years ago, and I can't imagine myself living anywhere else in the world but here in the West of this great country. My loves are the Lord, my family, writing/blogging, computers (Yep, I'm a techie!) and photography. There than that I'm a boring person.
Thanks to Beverly for selecting my blog, Cottage Dreamer, for this week's Pink Saturday. A bit about me - I'm one of the Senior Baby Boomers, and thought I'm getting close to "that age" i never see myself retiring. I'll always be doing something. On my blog you'll find some information about my family. I've a 35 year old son, and during the day I puppy sit for his 7 year old Chihuahua - Bootsy. There's currently a really cute video of him outside the front of my condo. And, of course, there's lots of pink on my blog. Three of my rooms are even painted pink. You'll also find my collection of hand-painted items with pink roses on them, dolls that I made several years ago, and lots of other "whatever" that so many of us like to fill our blogs with. Have a Wonderful Pink Saturday!
