Pink Saturday - July 10, 2010

Happy Pink Saturday !

Carol at Serendipity, one of our regular Pink Saturday participants, is scheduled for hip replacement surgery, Monday, July 12.  Please keep her in your prayers as she has the surgery and rehabilitation.

Happy Pink Saturday to all of you!  I am excited to be included in the featured blog list this Pink Saturday.  "5 kids, 2 labs, 1 lizard and a hermit crab" started two years ago when my husband and I loaded up our minivan with all of the above and headed out from Virginia to Colorado for 6 months.  I used it to keep everybody back in Virginia updated on our "Shenanigans" as my friend calls them...since the we've returned home and my blogging has evolved.  I've shared some sewing, bits about pets, family trips, local happenings and events, and the joys and challenges of parenting.  I hope you'll stop by and if you see something that interest you maybe you'll stop in again sometime, or even follow.  I try very hard to return the favor to those who take the time to leave a comment.  Happy Blogging & Think Pink!

I am a Preacher's wife and mother to three wonderful children.  We live in a rural area where the pace of life is slower and where everyone knows you name.  The word Delightsome occurs once in the Bible.  I have always been charmed by that word.  1828 Webster's Dictionary defines it as, "very pleasing; delightful".  The concept is a desire and a willingness to live a pleasing life evoking pleasure, willingness and purpose.  My desire is to celebrate the slower rhythms of life and to appreciate the moments as they come.

Hello Dear Ones, my name is Shelia from Note Songs.  I've been participating in Pink Saturday hosted by our Dear Beverly for some time now.  I'll never think of Saturdays again without thinking "Pink"!  I'm married, have two married children, a four month old granddaughter and one fuzzy miniature Schnauzer named Chloe Dawn who frequents my blog from time to time.  I've been blogging for two years and never realized how much fun I would have and how many wonderful folks I would meet.  I like to post about my home: decorating, redos, sewing projects and just every day events.  I love to keep things in a pretty happy mood and after posting a photo of me snapping my picture in front of a mirror in a bathroom a while back ~ The Daring Darling Bathroom Beauty Snapping Divas was born.  I end each of my posts with a little Note Song and I would just love for you to pop over for a visit sometimes.

Hi there Pinkies!  I am a wife and mom to two grown sons and one sweet daughter-in-law, and three sweet pups, thus the Dogmom!  I like all things vintage and retro.  I wish I were talented enough to create beautiful items, but the limit of my creativity is some crochet, knitting and light sewing, I also love decorating our home.  My real passion at this point in life is creating my blog, which I have been posting for about 2 years.  I also love reading your blogs!  My blog posts are a bit of this and that, but I love Pink Saturdays the most!  I have some health issues, and my blog has opened up my world as I am housebound quite a bit.  I love the friends I have made here, what talent and goodness I have found.  Please stop by and say hi!  I would love to meet you!

I am a mom of two beautiful children, and four dogs.  One boy we refer to as "Magic" and our daughter we call "Mini".  We have two Cane Corsos or Italian Mastiffs - 110 lbs each.  We also have a Maltese (7 lbs) and a Yorkie named Gucci (5 lbs).  We collect art, antiques, and all things Italian.  We are in the process of searching for a ranch in San Luis Obispo.  We will establish an Italian Museum that we are naming Morelli Museum of Italian Classics.  The name of our ranch is going to be Terra Del Sole (Land of the Sun).  This will be an olive orchard, vineyard, and museum.  Ag-tours will be allowed on our organic farm, where we can offer jobs and even establish a little village of our own.  My blog is all about the beginning of our journey.  Please come and by and follow, and I will follow back.  Leave comments, I would love to hear from you.

I'm a Shabby Diva living in my pink vintage world.  Young at heart, but an old soul.  I love classic movies, the 30's and 40's being my favorite era.  The fashions were amazing.  So classy!  I love the Shabby chic lifestyle, and enjoy decorating my house in a way that makes me very happy.  Pink is a very important color to me.  It always makes me smile.  Other activities I enjoy are antique shopping, reading/writing poetry and shoe shopping.  Most important though, I'm a Mommy to 3 beautiful children.  A teenage daughter and 5 year old twin boys who keep me on my toes each and every minute of the day.  It's always exciting to meet new people who share the same interests and loves in live, and I would love to invite you all to my world.
