I am so happy to visit Beverly here at "How Sweet the Sound" and say hello to all her friends. I am very honored to be invited to be a featured guest on "Happy Pink Saturday".   After I found Beverly's meme, I always think "Pink" for Saturday, so we can go to the party. Thanks Beverly for making Saturday a fun day to go blogging.

 

 

After I started traveling to France and collecting French Faience I wanted a way to share my collections with others with similar interest. I realized I could easily do this if I started blogging. I started my blog in January of this year and I thought I would be writing only about my French Faience collections.  I soon discovered it could be so much more.

 

 Now, five months later my blog has grown to include more than French faience. I enjoy sharing my travel adventures through writing and photographs, photographing my flower gardens and doing new posts on wherever life is taking me.

 

I find now I rarely leave the house without my camera. For me blogging has become so much more with the amazing friendships that have developed along the way..........

My American Idol Review Of Last Night's Show

 

Here's my review for last night's performance.

Each of these three are great singers.

 

James, was my favorite, but he was eliminated last week.

 

Choosing favorites now is really difficult.

 

My favorite personality is definitely Scotty.

My least favorite personality is Haley.

 

Unfortunately, I am not a lover of country music.

And, that puts me in the position of most enjoying Haley's performances.

 

But, who is going to win?

 

I don't have a clue.

 
 

• Scotty McCreery - Entertaining and exceptional!

All of his performances were great.

 

Scotty is from North Carolina,

so I was lucky enough to watch over two hours of

local station coverage of his trip home last weekend.

 

This is a very special young man,

and he wtinesses to his faith in God.

 

 

• Lauren Alaina - Fun and emotional!

I thought all of her performances were great, too.

 

This girl is a sweetheart !!!

 

 

 

• Haley Reinhart - Awesome singer and performer!

 

Her three performances were "spot on".

If I had to choose a winner based on

enjoying their performaces,

I would have to choose Haley,

but ...

We are so excited to be guests here today on PINK SATURDAY! We are Kori & Tara and our blog is

 

Best friends turned Blogging Buddies. We have been friends for as long as we can remember, well like 6 or 7 years! Most days we have a hard time remembering last week! We are both married to the greatest men on the planet ( I promise there are 2 but they are taken!!!) and we are both moms to the cutest toddlers, 1 boy and 1 girl! We have shared many things as Friends: wedding, parties, pregnancy, babysitting, recipes and crafts!

 
After sending so many texts a month of our ideas and creations we thought we would unleash them on the world! Here are a few of our super fun Creations!

We love Free Wreaths (Its ALWAYS in our budget!) Here are a couple.

  

 We also help with a church youth group, and we have some fun kid projects.

 

 

 

We LOVE to cook! So there is usually a fun new recipe lingering around our site!

My American Idol Review Of Last Night's Show

 

Here's my review for last night's performance.

These are four fabulous singers.

 

 

 

The Remaining Four In My Order Of Preference

• James Durban - Wow!  He is my pick to win.

I thought both of his performances were incredible.

 

This guy is one gifted performer.

 

 
 

• Scotty McCreery - Awesome!  In my final two.

I thought both of his performances were amazing.

 

I love watching this guy perform.

 

And, I am not even a country music fan.

 

 

• Lauren Alaina - Fantastic!  In my final three.
   

I thought both of her performances were great.

 

This girl can sing!!!

 

 

 

• Send home - Haley Reinhart

 

Haley has an incredible voice, and she is a great performer,

...but, she showed her attitude last night.

And, that is the exact thing I haven't liked about her from the beginning.

She hasn't shown that side of herself the past few weeks,

and I had hoped she had matured.

She comes across to me as thinking she is above criticism,

and she just can't take it.

  I actually prefer Haley's style to Lauren's,

but I just can't take her ego.
