And, Paul McCartney singing

was a perfect ending.

 

 

 

How Did She Know?

 

Several months ago I contacted Kijsa of Kijsa Studio

about a miniature oil painting.

 

 

Yes, this is "the Kijsa".

Kijsa the incredibly talented,

and creator of beauty and art.

Kijsa the owner of Kijsa Studio etsy shop

Kijsa that we all love.♥

 

I ve been wanting to gather a few small paintings to place

on the shelves of our built-ins in our family room.

And, I thought Kijsa was the perfect match.

After all, I love everything she does.

 

And, even more, I love Kijsa.

She is a bright light in the world,

and she sets an example of

a kind and loving heart.

 

 

Well, next thing I know I received this incredible painting.

And, it is just perfect for me.

Kijsa painted a pink rose

that was inspired by heirloom roses in her yard.

And, she included the meaning of meditation.

She had to know my heart to know

just how much this would mean to me.

 

Thank you, dear Kijsa.

This is a forever treasure,

and I will think of you each time I look at it.

This week has been what I refer to as my Birthday Week.

I have always loved my birthday,

and I figure the more fun and celebrating the better.

And, since it is a "decade" birthday,

I see it as even more cause for celebration.

Some people complain about birthdays, but not me.

I knew I wanted to share this birthday with each of you,

and since yellow is my favorite color

(closely followed by pink),

I thought we should party in yellow and pink.

My husband and I always take the week of my birthday off  from

work.  We have been off all of this week and Friday of last week.  The

last day I worked was Thursday, July 19.  When I unlocked my office

door that Thursday morning I found a surprise from my co-workers.

  I should have known because they love "decade" birthdays, too.

Did you notice those fabulous cookies

featured in the

Yellow and Pink Saturday Birthday invitation?

Those were made and sent to me by

Judi at CranberryBlossom.

And, let me tell you that not only are they gorgeous,

they are melt in your mouth delicious.

And, look at this fabulous crown made just for me by

the fabulous Gabriela of Gabriela Delworth.

Gabriela, I love, love, love this crown.

It is my one and only crown ever,

and it makes me feel quite special.

Bee On Poppy For Puzzle Friday

 

A puzzle for the

fun-lovers.

I love jigsaw puzzles.

I've loved putting together puzzles since I was a young child.

The part I don't like is having the puzzle sit out

for long periods of time in the house.

The table it is on is "occupied",

the pieces get knocked off on the floor

and the lighting is not always great.

Those are the reasons I love these online puzzles.

No mess and quick solutions.

Give them a try.

You don't have to give your solution time.

How long it takes isn't important.

What is important is that you try.

 

Come on and play with me.

My advice is to study the picture and

puzzle shape before you start.

These puzzles are fun,

and our brains can

use the workout.

My time was 0:59 seconds.
