Happy Pink Saturday !
This is Beatrice.
Some of you have been participating
in Pink Saturday for a very long time,
and you know the story of Beatrice.
But, many of you don't know about Beatrice.
As you can see, Beatrice is a lovely
piece of Irish Dresden.
I have a small collection of Irish Dresden,
mostly gifted to me by my mother.
Beatrice was the first piece I received,
and she was selected because of her name.
Beatrice was the name of my
maternal grandmother,
and she was much like this lovely piece.
Petite and lovely,
yet strong and enduring.
To me she was Ma Bea.
She loved me, and I loved her, too.
She gave me hugs,
and she called me shug.
She was everything anyone
could dream of as a grandmother.
Now, when you see the Pink Saturday Lady,
you can feel the love.
Welcome to Pink Saturday.

Reminder

participant that you have never visited. Then next Saturday
include that blog and a link in your post.
Quite a few of you have been done this challenge,
and have met some great Pink Saturday participants.
