I Crush On Robert Redford

 

Paul Bratter.  Isn't he just the cutest guy ever?

I first saw Barefoot In The Park when I was fifteen years old.

Loved it.  Still do.

 

 

Then I saw this.

And this.

And, I was a goner for Robert Redford.

I wasn't a teenager that had celebrity crushes,

but I just couldn't resist this guy.

 

Loved him here.

 

And here.

 

This was my favorite forever.

 

Heart went pitter pat here.

 

And, the funny thing is now that he is older and weathered,

he still does it for me.

 

So, you know I had to see my guy in

All Is Lost.

And, the movie was amazing.

I was mesmerized.

This must be his most incredible acting ever.

 

Don't miss this one.

Even if you don't crush on Robert Redford.

How can you choose between Kree and Candice?

 

Both gifted singers.

 

Both incredible young women.

 

Both will have great careers.

 

American Idol has never had this much

 

talent in the final.

 

Kree's voice soothes my soul.

 

Candice's voice stimulates every nerve in my body.

 

 

 

But, Kree speaks to my heart just a wee bit more.

 

 

My votes belonged to Kree.

 

 

 

 

I love Candice, too.

 

 

 

 

 

I will miss the opportunity to hear these

 

two young women sing every week.

 

I'm looking forward to the finale tonight.

 

 

 

But, darn!

 

It means I have to listen to those guys again.

American Idol Season Twelve

 

 

 

 

Here are the three finalists.

 

 

 

Kree and Candice have been my favorites

 

since the first time I saw the final ten,

 

and they are still my favorites.

 

I would have a hard time choosing between these two.

 

 

 

Is there anyone that wasn't crying along with me

 

when Kree went home with her sister?

 

There is just something about this girl.

 

I feel she has a good heart.

 

Kree and Candice make me feel as if I

 

can see into there heart.  Angie doesn't come

 

across to me as sincere as the other two.

 

 

 

Here is my order of preference for the final three.

 

 

1. Kree

2. Candice

 

3. Angie

 

 

I wasn't thrilled with the songs chosen for

 

the girls.  Candice was given a phenomenal

 

song to close the show, and she was amazing.

 

 

What do you think of the idea to have

 

each contestant sing the same song?

 

I would have liked to hear Kree and Angie

 

sing Somewhere.  I knew the minute they

 

announced the song that the performance

 

would be incredible.

You won't be surprised when I say

 

Kree and Candice are still my favorites.

 

I would have a hard time choosing between these two.

 

 

 

I didn't enjoy either performance by

 

Amber or Angie last night.

 

In fact, I was really disappointed.

 

 

I was glad to see Harry Connick, Jr mentoring.

 

I think he gave each one some solid advice,

 

and his views played out in the performances.

 

 

 

 

 

The judging is leaving me shaking my head.

 

Really, Randy?

Here are the four finalists.

 

 

 

Kree and Candice are my favorites,

 

and I don't see that changing.

 

Let's face it, each of these women can sing,

 

and each one of them has star qualities.

 

 

 

I just find a depth to the voices of Kree and Candice,

 

that is not there for me with Amber and Angie.

 

It truly comes down to a matter of preference.

 

 

I wasn't loving any performance this week,

 

and I agree they aren't choosing the right songs.

 

I am still waiting for that jaw dropping,

 

leaves me speechless performance.

 

 

I found the judges appalling this week.

 

Really?

 

It so seemed to me that they had a specific agenda.

 

I was more in agreement with Jimmy's comments.

 

I can barely take Mariah's oozing sweetness.

 

(And, would someone tell Mariah and Nicki

 

to stop stroking their hair.)

 

If Randy says they are in it to win it one more time,

 

my husband may blow a fuse.

 

I can't complain about Keith because I can't resist his grin.

 

Now, hold onto your seats

 

because for me Nicki is doing the best critiques.

 

That girl knows her stuff.
